:biography

The Youth Journey is one of the youth initiatives organized by the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare, through which it seeks to achieve the strategic objective of developing the youth sector according to the needs of the community. Which is one of the most important national programs in the formation and construction of youth personality according to UAE standards.

:The importance of the program

The purpose of this trip is to provide an opportunity for UAE youth to meet with their counterparts in the world's youth and to learn about the forms of leadership in order to gain more experiences and exchange experiences according to programs aimed at expanding their knowledge and investing their energies in serving the country by providing them with leadership skills as well as directing their energies and creative ideas. In bringing visions, projects and ideas to the homeland for the vision of the UAE 2021.

:Republic of Japan 

This year, the State of Japan was chosen as a destination for young people. The State of Japan is an opportunity to benefit from its remarkable history in the field of empowering young people with the leadership and intellectual skills necessary to meet the challenges of the future through various activities, visits and training workshops. The trip to Japan is the third after the first two flights to South Korea and the second to North America have been successful. All these trips are linked to the government's vision of sustainability and continuity.

The program targets 10 male and female youth aged 18-20 years as follows

"Graduates of the National Youth Leadership Program " Thorn 
Pass the interview stage after opening the registration for participation

:Conditions of admission to the program

To be a UAE national
Be in the age group (18-20 years)
Parental consent in writing
Commitment to the Leadership and Participation Program
Good command of English - very good (writing, reading and speaking)
To have a leadership role and multiple achievements after graduating from leadership program
