Within the framework of the General Authority for Sport and its efforts to strengthen its institutional partnerships with various federal and local authorities, the Strategy and Future Department held a meeting with the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics in the presence of Rashid Al Mutawa, Director of the Department and representatives from both sides. Al Mutawa praised the cooperation with the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics, which is one of the most important institutions of studies and research and a vital base for statistical data at the state level and has many contributions inside and outside the country. The Director of Strategy and Future said that the General Authority for Sport is seeking to develop its strategy in line with the recent changes and strives to implement the requirements of the federal government in terms of strengthening institutional partnerships with our full belief in the importance of the participation of the institutions concerned in achieving our strategic objectives. Al-Mutawa explained that the meeting came out with many recommendations, the most important of which is the preparation of a partnership agreement between the two parties and work together towards achieving a set of goals set. It was also agreed to form a joint team to discuss some future vision projects prepared as a kind of exchange of experiences, improve abilities and the relentless effort to achieve the competitiveness the country is striving to achieve in addition to achieving the requirement of sustainable development. The cooperation between the General Authority for Sport and the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics will lead to achieving the goals of both parties and to implement the directions of the state and the government in a coordinated manner to work together towards realizing the United Arab Emirates vision 2021.
