Medical examinations for the authority's employees

The General Authority of Sports (GAS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, organized an initiative to carry out medical examinations for its employees in order to preserve their health and to ensure their safety. This initiative is part of the continuous efforts to enhance applying precautionary measures in GAS and to emphasize its keenness to provide the best means of occupational health and safety for its employees. In this regard, GAS has raised employees’ awareness by providing health advice and guidance on social distancing and safety procedures during working hours, in addition to providing various sterilization and sanitizing materials for employees to ensure their safety. H.E. Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, GAS Secretary-General, stressed that the examinations carried out by GAS comply with the wise leadership’s directives to combat the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, as well as providing a healthy and safe workplace for employees in line with the highest quality standards implemented. This initiative was supported by Pigeon Middle East, Therapeutic Medical Center, New Country Healthcare, Sebamed-City Pharmacy, and Uriage, who provided some health products and services.
