Chairman of Authority checks on players of UAE team for bicycles after Hatta accident

HE Mr. Yousif Al-Sarkal, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, made a telephone call to Osama Al-Shafar, Chairman of the Cycling Federation, to reassure the players of the UAE cycling team after an accident in the city of Hatta during the training sessions for the team, he instructed that all steps needed to treat the injured ones be taken including the Tunisian team coach Sana Al Mardasi, demanding a detailed report on the extent of security and safety measures available during the open training programs in the outer tracks of the streets of different cities for all teams in general, and be reviewed carefully to maintain the safety of the athletes.
