Various activities at the conclusion of the celebrations of General Authority for Sports with Day of Happiness

The General Authority for Sports (GAS) concluded its activities in the international Day of Happiness, which started last week with the participation of more than 1200 people, amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness that blended happiness and tolerance with an innovative flavor, bringing together senior citizens and citizens, persons with disabilities, federations, sports institutions and Traditional and modern media stars and a selection of dignitaries.
The event was attended by Sheikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Mualla, Sheikha Mariam bint Saqr Al Qasimi, Saeed Hareb, Vice Chairman of GAS, Sharif Al Awadhi, Board Member of the Board, Issa Hilal, Board Member of the Board of Directors, Said Abdul Ghaffar, Secretary General of the GAS , Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary of the Board Chief Executive Officer of happiness and quality of life in the GAS and a number of dignitaries, media personnel and staff of GAS and residents of neighboring areas where the invitation was public in the Al Saada Park in Al Khawaneej area in Dubai yesterday evening ..

It is noteworthy that the events varied between poetic words singing to the tunes of happiness prepared and presented by the poet Khaled al-Kaabi with the participated child Mahra al-Shehhi. Among the surprises of the events, it was that all were welcomed by the robot of happiness, which participated in the celebrations of GAS, and identified the faces of the participants and went with them in the dialogue. Among the most prominent events, it was planting the Ghaf tree that is the title of happiness and the slogan of tolerance in the year of tolerance, as well as several different and diverse stations between interactive workshops for adults and children and sessions of meditation, happiness and tolerance, in addition to several sports and recreational stations, in which the people with disabilities, and senior citizens, interviewed by selected stars of our local media of different age groups.
No one has forgotten the mother, whose name was associated with happiness and her day came after the day of happiness to announce harmony and twinning between them, so GAS honored all mothers with gifts and awards of appreciation to the mothers present and participate in recognition of them and their efforts.
One of the most prominent stations of happiness is the positive dialogue session with the people with disabilities, which was moderated by the media Suad Al-Hosani and attended by the Ambassador of the positive Zahir Muhairi and the Ambassador of the challenge Mohammed Al-Aidroos and writer Mohammed Al-Ghafli and the knight of the will Sara Sinani, shared by positive spokesman Mohammed Al kasf.
The horse shows presented by Tariq Al Muhairi and the meetings of the athletes interviewed by the Suad Al Hammadi delighted the audience and drew attention to them. The organizing committee did not lose sight of our orphans, as various competitions and prizes were presented by Khadija and Fatima Al Taie in addition to many recreational and educational games for them.
Sheikha Mariam bint Saqr Al Qasimi, Chancellor Hind Al Badwawi, Ms. Basma Freihat and creative artist Ghazala presented various workshops in happiness, tolerance, meditation and our positive habits, citing stations for wise leadership in these aspects, at the forefront of which is the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan.
On the sidelines of the event, the UAE Karate Federation, represented by its President, Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razouki, presented medals of tolerance to VIPs participating in the celebrations.
The event ended by honoring participants and supporting volunteer with certificates, commemorative shields and some symbolic gifts.
