Receiving a delegation from the Emirates Football Association

H.E. Khalid Issa Al Midfaa, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Authority of Sports (GAS), received at GAS’s headquarters in Dubai a delegation from the UAE Football Association headed by Ali Hamad Al-Badwawi, member of the Board of Directors of the Association. H.E. Al Midfaa welcomed the delegation, praising the efforts of the Association’s Board of Directors headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi to develop Emirati football. His Excellency stressed permanent cooperation between GAS and the sports federations, pointing out that sports sector is continuously followed up and cared by the UAE wise leadership whose directives consolidate foundations of sports work and provides all kinds of support to achieve progress and excellence. Al Midfaa complimented the UAE wise leadership’s keenness to promote and develop sports sector to make best results and achievements in regional, continental and international forums. For his part, Mr. Hamad Al-Badwawi praised the permanent and continuous cooperation between the two sides, stressing the continuation of this cooperation to achieve desired goals in all fields.
