Emirates Distinguished Care Program

It is an initiative to explore talented people in fields of science, arts and different skills for official registration and listing them in the dedicated care program. The initiative is implemented by team consisting of the representative of competent agencies (the Department of Special Care in the Ministry of Education, the Department of Talented of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Award, and Family Development Foundation) of the federal and local sectors.

Target:

The young men and women between 11 to 25 years.

Location of Implementation:

  • Phase One: 2011 at Continental Dubai – Festival City (Ras 3 Hall)
  • Phase Two: 2012 at the headquarters of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare

Objectives:

  • To establish a database of the talented and register them in the records of the Authority.
  • To implement a comprehensive study of the segment of talents in the UAE in cooperation with related agencies and refer the same to the competent agencies.
  • To lay down special programs and plans to explore and polish the talented.
  • To merge the talented people with special needs.

Fields of Program:

  • Phase One: poetry, elocution, acting, shooting, music, playing on machines and singing, drawing and plastic arts.
  • Phase Two: Caricaturing.

Conditions of Participation:

  • Participants shall be citizens of the UAE.
  • They shall be of the fixed age.
  • They have a special talent in the set fields of each phase.
