General Authority of Sports organizes a vaccination campaign against influenza

As part of its social responsibility, the General Authority of Sports organized an initiative to vaccinate against seasonal influenza, which included all its employees, with the participation of sports federations and the state's sports community. The campaign, which was supervised by doctors and specialists from the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, “Preventive Medicine Department,” witnessed a great turnout from Authority’s officials and employees of its departments and sections, and workers and customers at the Customer Happiness Center. The campaign included the distribution of educational brochures that included medical information and awareness tips about the importance of preventive vaccination in stimulating the immune system to prevent any infection and thus avoiding serious and infectious diseases. The campaign witnessed the participation of a number of companies, including Direct Care, Call and Call, Pigeon, Batset, and Basline, as this initiative was supported by them. The attendees expressed their happiness with this initiative, which reflects the role and importance of community participation in this responsibility that has a great impact.
