Khalid Isa Al-Midfa, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Authority for Sport, addressed several messages to the audience of the sport street through the “Gulf”, regarding what is needed in the next stage of administrative awakening for all the sport bodies in the country, some of which have recently been in a state of conflict and melancholy among some, stressing that the current situation requires an administrative awakening and work together in proactive plans, and away from personalization in order to develop, to achieve the vision of leadership that spared nothing in supporting the athletes of the country with care and attention. Al-Midfa stressed that there is an urgent need at the present time to enhance participation and transparency. "Integrity and accountability” and the most effective approach at present is to heal the rift resulting from the practices of some, which constitute a cynical picture in the sport environment which hinders action and fulfillment of responsibilities to move far from the negativity and close to building national capacities capable of achieving the desired development. Al Midfa added "In view of the UAE's progress in the comprehensive national development phase, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum adopted in September 2016 the UAE's Strategy for Future Prospect" which aims to view and prospect future Opportunities, challenges and future implications in all vital sectors in the country, analyze them and develop long-term proactive plans at all levels to achieve qualitative achievements to serve the interests of the State, in addition to building national capabilities in the field of looking ahead, and launch research reports». He added: "The successful planning of the future of any institution depends on the availability of basic and necessary elements of a far vision, a comprehensive understanding of the future requirements and challenges and training on its tools to form a future conscious vision." Al Midfa continued: "We need more than ever to adhere to the principles and values of sport first and move forward with it together towards the desired goals. This will only happen when everyone applies what the Authority is seeking in governance, it’s the way take our sport to the international level. The world is going through sudden and rapid changes that require everyone to work according to one plan and with reason, not words. Al-Midfa added: "The global variables in the sports field require our sports institutions to work on establishing the principles of good governance, which is one of the most important tools for looking ahead, especially after the information revolution and the spread of social media that transport the event in voice and image at the spontaneously, We are certainly part of the international sports family. We need to promote participation, transparency and adherence to fair and just laws and to respond to the requirements of our clients, partners and be ready to be answerable. In regards to football Al Midfa talked about a Japanese incident that can be benefited from, in a press interview published in 2005 with Kohazu Tashima, spoke of the Japanese Football Federation's plan to develop a plan that extends until 2050 and was founded to develop Japanese football and go forward with through rehabilitation of the coaches, and refining the talents of the players in order to reach the global level through wide door which is already achieved.
