General Authority for Sports concludes swimming courses for women in Ajman

div>p>The delegation of the General Authority for Sports visited "AL Karama Oasis" in Abu Dhabi, which was built to commemorate the martyrs of the UAE.

The delegation included HE Yousif Yaqoub Al Sarkal, Chairman of the General Authority for Sport, Ibrahim Abdul Malik Mohammed, Secretary General of the Authority, Abdul Mohsen Fahd Al Dosari, Assistant Secretary General for Sport Affairs, and Khalid Isa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General of the Authority.

The delegation toured Al Karama Oasis, which was built to symbolize the sacrifices of UAE nationals and to honor the names of those who gave their lives while performing their national duty.

The delegation was briefed on the martyr's monument, which consists of 31 huge panels that are leaning on each other as a symbol of unity, solidarity and cohesion among the people of the UAE community and leadership and the strength, courage and steadfastness of the UAE people. They also stopped at the metal plate that was carved by the UAE Armed Forces. They then moved to the Suite of Honor, which includes panels of the Qur’an verses engraved on them as well as the names of the martyrs of the UAE's brave people and information about them.

On this occasion, His Excellency Yousif Al-Sarkal said: "I am filled with honor while standing with pride and respect in front of this memorial, which symbolizes the sacrifices of our honorable martyrs, who have made great and generous efforts to raise the nation and its loyal soldiers, today we renew our pledge of allegiance and loyalty to our country and its leadership and reassure and stress that we are on the path of sacrifice in order to preserve the soil of our homeland and keep its flag high bland with pride and vanity.

Al-Sarkal added that the visit of the employees of the Sports Authority came to know about the sacrifices made by UAE nationals in the squares of glory and honor for the sake of their country.

The staff of the Sports Authority called upon God Almighty to embrace the martyrs in his mercy and to make their place with the righteous and the virtuous in Paradise.
