Al Midfa: It’s an annual occasion which reflects the culture of appreciation and honor

The celebration committee of the High Organizing Committee of the ceremony honoring the holders of sport achievements announced the completion of the preparations for the ceremony, embracing the UAE sports champions in the annual celebration which will be held next Sunday at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. Khalid Isa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General of the Authority, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, pointed out the preparation of the ceremony, which started early in order to ensure that it was presented in a distinctive manner worthy of the name and place of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, through the selection of a specialized international company to organize and prepare the paragraphs and the program of the ceremony which will be attended by His Highness Sheikhs, Excellences, leaders and officials of the sport movement and a crowd of honored sportsmen. Al Midfa pointed out that this year's ceremony will be held in a different manner in the way of honoring the sports federations and champions of the achievements, where 30 honoring ceremony podiums were prepared bringing together 28 federations, and referees, in addition to the Sheikh Mansour International Festival for Arabian horses. The ceremony will also include honoring the sport personality, a group of honored personalities and supporters of the talented fund. He said that the ceremony honoring sport achievers has become an annual occasion expected to reflect the culture of appreciation and honor, which principles were laid down by the good leadership among its people and a motivation to achieve more achievements and strive to raise the banner of the state cheery in various regional, continental and international forums. The Assistant Secretary-General of the Authority appreciated the efforts of the High Organizing Committee for the event, the subcommittees and the supporting bodies on the efforts exerted through coordination and follow-up with the concerned parties and continuous meetings and field visits to the site of the ceremony to view all the arrangements and make sure they are ready to embrace the heroes of the UAE and celebrate their achievements.
