In line with the keenness of the General Authority for Sport to keep abreast with contemporary developments in the digital and intelligent transformation, and in line with the directives of the Supreme Leadership to create the future and overcome all difficulties facing sports and athletes in the UAE, the Authority held this morning a workshop for all federations and sports bodies in the country to update UAE sport portal and create new services with a participation of representative from all sport bodies and federations in the country . At the beginning of the workshop, Ibrahim Abdul Malik Mohammed, General Secretary of the General Authority for Sport, praised the workshop and the attendance and the organizing committee. He said that the Authority is opening its doors to all proposals that will contribute to improving the mechanism of providing services and developing them through the Emirates Sports portal. He mentioned the Authority’s willingness to hold and provide workshops and seminars if which could help dealing with the portal if requested by any party. "These updates, which were launched today through the workshop, will make a difference in both electronic and smart sport procedures, and will provide access to the services for everyone, in addition to facilitating all personnel procedures in the sports federations, and follow-up on evaluating the performance system of sports departments. He pointed out that this workshop is part of a series of workshops coming in the course of which a number of updates will be launched and another addition will be announced later, stressing that the Authority is working diligently through a professional team to improve performance and develop work mechanisms of. For his part, Abdullah Hussein Mahioh, an expert in the Department of Sports Federations said that it is time to start the launch of new updates, related to the portal and in accordance with new mechanisms in line with the strategy of the Authority and its vision, This will be announced and presented through awareness workshops for sport coordinators in the country. He added that this stage took a long time of preparation and study, to appear as desired, as it is the stage of establishment of the new package updated, and that there are stages to be announced soon, through a workshop and similar activities
