National Day Celebration at Zayed Sports Complex

The Office of the General Authority for Sport in the Eastern Region organized a celebration for the 46th National Day, which included the message of loyalty and renewal allegiance for the leader of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ceremony celebration began at the Zayed Sports Complex with the National Anthem. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Bu Hindi, Director of the Office of the Authority in the Eastern Region, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the highest congratulations and greetings to the wise leadership and all the people of the UAE and all the residents on this good land. He said that the United Arab Emirates stands today, with the leadership, the government and the people, in pride, loyalty and allegiance to the day that witnessed the birth of the Union, which we are all proud of, in solidarity and loyalty to our country. He added that it is a precious occasion in which we remember the courage and wisdom of sincere men led by the late, may God bless his soul, the founder of the Union, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The celebration sgments included poetry poems and national musical performances for students and schoolgirls, as well as a military parade and concluded the celebration by honoring the participants and the sponsors and supporters of the activities for the Authority in the Eastern Region.

The ceremony was attended by Abdel Aziz Saif Al-Afkham, member of Youth Hostels Association, Mohammed Nasser Bin Amer, Head of Sports Activities, Khalid Al-Fazzari, Director of the Scientific Club, Yousif Abdullah, Senior Manager of Fujairah Sport Club, Ibrahim Sorour Al-Khalidi manager of Al Hijra primary school, and a number of athletes and volunteers, a crowd of fans.
