This key investment to support human capabilities boosts the country's sports sector and contributes to creating a generation of professional athletes and marking their presence in various global sports forums. Moreover, it paves the path to realise one of the most vital goals of the national strategy, which is to increase the number of Emirati players who qualify for the Olympic games to over 30 players by the 2032 Summer Olympics.

One of the most effective methods for promoting the concepts of sports diplomacy in the UAE is offering scholarships to athletes from different countries worldwide.  The initiative plays a pivotal role in fostering cultural and academic connections by creating a network of unofficial ambassadors who can actively promote the UAE in their respective countries.
