A healthy and positive work environment for the staff of the Sports Authority

As part of the keenness of the General Authority for Sport to promote health and health education of its employees, on Monday morning, the Authority received the "Healthy and Positive Work Environment Initiative" team from the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, which aims to empower work places to support the health of their employees by providing them with the skills and information necessary to establish healthy habits , changing misconceptions, and creating a supportive environment for health.

HE Ibrahim Abdul Malik Mohammed, Secretary General of the General Authority for Sport, praised the initiative, which he considered a positive move in the contribution of promoting health education for employees, which reflects positively on the achievement and the performance, and the love of good and giving.

HE said: "I am keen to be at the forefront of the participants in these programs and medical examinations, in order to raise the morale of everyone in this initiative on personal care of the body, and its safety for everyone, as in the saying" the right mind in the sound body" should be a target for all employees, For a future free from the illnesses of the times and others resulting from sitting in offices.

He expressed his sincere thanks to the Ministry of Health for this positive service, which pleased everyone, and reflected the Ministry's keenness to achieve the orientations of the wise leadership and the vision of the UAE 2021, he also praised the efforts of the participants from employees, institutions and sponsoring companies.

The initiative included several educational activities for staff from medical examinations and awareness activities on the importance of drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables, and practicing walking and sports.
