General Authority for Sports leaders congratulate Sharjah Sports Club

HE Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports (GAS), extended his highest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah on the occasion of Sharjah Sports Club winning the shield of the Arabian Gulf League 2018-2019.
This sporting achievement, which is an extension of a journey full of achievements and a confirmation of the prestige of the club and its worthy of winning titles.
He also congratulated the Sharjah Sports Council for their efforts in following up and supporting the clubs in Sharjah, praising the outstanding performance of the Sharjah Club throughout the term of the league, which strengthened its position among its counterparts and confirmed its merit to the title expressing his thanks and congratulations to the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Club and the Football Club of for their efforts.
His Excellency said that this achievement and the coronation which his family came across reflected the keenness of the players, coaches and administrators in the club to confirm the club's prestige and its worth to be at the top of the standings, blessing everyone this victory, qualification and joy that announced a renewed launch of a long-standing club with unlimited leadership support. He also praised the role of the UAE Football Association , the professional league committee, sports councils and all the contributors and volunteers in the success of the league.

He stressed that the support and guidance of His Highness in addition to the follow-up and supervision of the leadership of the club had a prominent impact and direct reflection on the stability of the team that led to outstanding performance and deserved to win the league title. He also congratulated the players, the team coach and the administrative staff on this deserved winning, thanking all the teams that presented a distinguished championship in a competitive and professional spirit that elevates the UAE football and thanked the fans who participated in the success of the championship.
He said that this achievement is in addition to the series of achievements of the UAE sports, where it highlights a new champion who well-deserved to win and worked according to an integrated system on a professional and administrative approach and draw his plans in the course of his participation in competitions to obtain achievements in order to support the development of the UAE football competitions, and strengthen its position.
He pointed out that the Sharjah Club team impressed everyone during the league since the beginning of the season and showed the finest professional models in the performance, harmony and smoothness in the stadium, which contributed to strengthening its position and coherence and keeping the title to the end.
