General Authority for Sports announces the details of the achievements Award ceremony next Tuesday

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the 13th Sports Achievement Awards ceremony honoring Ceremony during its last meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of Abdulmohsen Fahad Al Dosari, Assistant Secretary General for Sports Affairs, set the date of the ceremony to be held on the honor of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and organized GAS, the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. The committee said that the date and details of the ceremony will be announced during a press conference next Tuesday morning at the GAS’S headquarters.
Abdul Mohsen Al Dossari, Assistant Secretary General for Sports Affairs, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the ceremony, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and preparing all the necessary arrangements for the ceremony to bring it out in a manner befitting the name and status of the President and sponsor of the ceremony, pointing out that the ceremony honoring the owners of sports achievements is a holiday for athletes and reflects the culture and the thought of the political leadership in honoring everyone who offers achievement and work through which the name and flag of the United Arab Emirates is raised high in various forums and entitlements.
Al-Dosari praised the committee's efforts and accomplishment for many of the requirements of the ceremony and the basic data of the honors and the data of the honorees, noting that during the press conference will be announced the value of the present and the person of the year and the number of honors and details of medals, associations and others.
From his side, Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General of GAS , Vice Chairman of the Higher Committee and Chairman of the Celebration Committee, said that the Committee is keen on the appearance of the ceremony in the best suit befitting the achievements of the UAE champions in terms of all the arrangements and equipment and the public image of the ceremony. He added that the details of the ceremony will be disclosed at the press conference, as it will be accompanied by an informative meeting of the participating associations, to introduce them to the manner and formalities of the day of celebration at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.
It is worth mentioning that the Supreme Organizing Committee of the ceremony was formed under the chairmanship of Abdul Mohsen Fahad Al Dosari, Assistant Secretary General for Sports Affairs, and the membership of Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General, Vice-Chairman, Chairman of the celebration committee, and Khalid Abdullah Al Hussein, Omar Abdulrahman Al Ali, and Abdul Aziz Al Hosan, Ahlam Youssef Mubarak, Marwan Abdel Rahman Al Marzouqi, Hassan Ahmed Al Ramsi, a representative from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and another from the National Olympic Committee.
