Evaluation of the first Customer Council 2025 for the development of services of the Ministry of Sports

Overview of the Consultation:

The Ministry of Sports conducted its first of "Customer Councils" of 2025, with the participation of over 40 representatives from national sports federations. The initiative aligns with the Ministry's efforts to reinforce collaboration and   boost direct engagement with its stakeholders. It further reflects the Ministry's dedication to attain the goals of the Zero Bureaucracy Program and enhance the efficiency of government services in line with the 'We the UAE vision 2031'.

Objective:

  • To offer an interactive platform to foster the exchange of visions and proposals that reflect the opinion and voice of customers.
  • Address the challenges confronted by sports entities.
  • Simplify procedures and improve governance and institutional integration across the sports sector.

Decisions:

Important teams in the Ministry of Sports will evaluate the observations and proposals presented during the Council and work to classify them by priority. It will help in developing and employing appropriate solutions in a way that enhances customer satisfaction.

Decisions Taken:

The results show that the average evaluation rate of 93.41%, reflecting a high level of satisfaction with the Council's performance.

And based on the suggestions and the results the below decisions were made:

1. Hold regular workshops to discuss various operational topics and develop work procedures, with regular monitoring of implementation of resulting recommendations.

2. Develop the content presented in councils.

3. Dedicate a fixed section in each council to present and discuss proposals and observations received from participants, to ensure their active engagement in developing sports work.

4. Enhance the mechanism for directing invitations to participants to be more inclusive.
