Girls Camp

An entertaining scouting camp which targets girls during the summer holiday through a variety of useful programs and events.

Target:

Ages 13 to 20 years

Timing:

The first semester holiday every year

Location of Implementation:

• 1st Girls Camp: 2011 at Marbah Girls Center under the slogan 'Towards the Sky'.
• 2nd Girls Camp: 2012 at Marbah Girls Center under the slogan 'Together We Advance'.
• 3rd Girls Camp: 2012 at Marbah Girls Center under the slogan 'Emirates – My Soul'.

Objectives:

• To invest girls’ time in a useful way
• To give them life skills and instill within them a spirit of self-dependence to enable them to face difficult situations.
• To instill the spirit of leadership and teamwork.
• To enhance the values of loyalty and national affiliation

The conditions of participation:

• They are female citizens of the UAE.
• They possess leadership skills.
• They are within the age category (13 to 20 years)
• They pass the first semester.

Main programs and events:

• Awareness lectures
• Cultural, heritage, artistic and sports programs and competitions.
• Voluntary programs.
