About the Consultation:
As part of the Ministry of Sports' commitment to enhancing its government services and improving the customer experience, the Ministry participated in the "Future Customer Councils" initiative - a distinguished initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Office.
The initiative aims to support federal entities in developing their services by directly engaging with the views and aspirations of future customers, thereby providing a unique opportunity to connect with the next generation, discuss government services with them, and ultimately improve service quality and enhance customer satisfaction.
Objectives:
1. Reinforce the principle of customer engagement in the development of policies and services.
2. Contribute to raising service quality standards and enhancing the customer experience.
Decisions:
Review priority proposals and submit appropriate recommendations accordingly, in addition to tasking the relevant department with reviewing the services associated with the feedback received and developing improvement plans as needed, to ensure enhanced service quality and an improved customer experience.
Decisions Taken:
The survey achieved an overall average rating of 99%, reflecting a very high level of satisfaction with, and support for, the initiative and its objectives.
The survey results indicate that the Future Customer Councils initiative succeeded in achieving its objectives of involving youth and future customers in the development of government services. The results also showed:
- A high level of support for the initiative.
- Complete conviction of the importance of involving youth in the development of services.
- A clear understanding of the impact of participatory initiatives on improving service quality.
- A strong desire among participants to continue taking part in future initiatives.
Based on the feedback and suggestions received from participants, it was decided to continue implementing the Customer Councils initiative and expand its scope by increasing the number of councils and engagement sessions in general. This will help enhance the participation of customers and youth, provide greater opportunities to gather their views and suggestions, and support the development of government services and the improvement of customer experience.
