Ibrahim Abdul Malik praises the success of Dubai Challenge Initiative

Secretary General of the General Authority for Sport, Ibrahim Abdul Malik Mohammed, praised the success of the Dubai Challenge initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sport Council, which enhanced the participation of the community in physical activity and encouraged commitment to practice different sports and activities of all kinds.

He described the initiative as stemming from a wise vision aiming at motivating a healthy and athletic way of life with an innovative approach designed to broaden participation by providing an environment that encourages all members of the family to exercise together in an atmosphere of happiness and joy.

He stressed that the General Authority for Sports supports all that promotes the development of sport movement in various emirates of the country, including this initiative, which has created a comprehensive sport environment for the requirements of the society, but also contributed to provide the opportunity for all members of society in different categories and ages. It also encouraged athletes to sharpen their talents and guide them towards global achievements, hoping that everyone will continue to exercise throughout the year.

He pointed out that the Authority was keen to be an active part of the event with various programs and activities that were made for this initiative, in addition to accepting the challenge and participating through the participation of the leadership and staff in the fitness exercises and group sports that witnessed a good competition, in addition to providing all means of support for its success In all the facilities of the Authority, and in all the sport institutions under its umbrella.
