About the consultation:
Based on the Ministry of Sports' belief in the role of youth in shaping the future of sports and enhancing institutional excellence, the Ministry of Sports Youth Council for 2025 has been formed in collaboration with the Federal Youth Authority, to serve as a platform for engaging young talents in formulating national sports initiatives and projects.
The Council aims to enhance the role of youth within national sports institutions and stimulate innovation by opening opportunities for new ideas and initiatives that contribute to developing the sports sector in line with the ambitious national sports vision. Additionally, it seeks to enhance internal interaction within the Ministry by building effective communication channels between young employees and senior leadership, thereby establishing a work environment based on cooperation and open dialogue.
Objective:
To highlight the Ministry of Sports' initiative in establishing the Ministry of Sports Youth Council for 2025 and collaborating with the Federal Youth Authority, affirming the Ministry's commitment to empowering youth, enhancing their role in formulating national sports initiatives and projects, stimulating innovation, and establishing a participatory work environment based on dialogue and effective communication between youth and leadership.
Decisions:
We will transform observations into practical, clear, and implementable developmental recommendations. The outputs will be presented to the Ministry's Youth Council for discussion and formulation of related initiatives or projects, then the most prominent recommendations will be submitted to senior leadership for consideration and approval of what aligns with national directions.
Decisions Taken:
The results show that the average evaluation rate of 95.56%, which is a very high satisfaction indicator reflecting strong support from participants for the importance of establishing the Youth Council and its role in the sports sector. And based on the suggestions and the results the below decisions were made:
- All proposals submitted by participants were shared with decision-makers and relevant departments in the Council for review and further study
- Keep the public informed about the Council's activities, projects, and future initiatives.
