Khalid Isa Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General of the General Authority for Sports, confirmed that the Games for Arab Clubs for Women in its fourth edition «Sharjah 2018», sponsored by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, , Under the slogan (the world is your playground .. Share her moments of victory) has become a strong preparation station for Emirati and Arab women, who kept attending it since it allows them the opportunity to contact and improve on the technical level to represent their country in the Olympic Games and World Championships. "We are grateful to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, President of the Sharjah Foundation for Women's Sports, for her care and unlimited support for the course and her great interest which gave a strong push forward to this session which made it an important station for the talented ones to prepare the participation in the Olympics in light of the participation of Arab women. The sponsorship of her Highness gave the event the soul for continuation and development until it reached in its fourth current edition to this large volume of participation, which included 67 teams from 15 Arab countries, and we expect the next edition to see more participation and more number of games thanks to the tireless efforts of the organizing committee under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qassimi. We thank him and his deputy Nada Al Naqbi, Sheikha Hayat Al Khalifa, President of the Supervisory and the follow-up Committee in this session and all the people working in organization for the efforts behind the resounding success of the session. The Assistant Secretary-General of the General Authority for Sport added: “We have followed the activities in the fields of competition in individual and group games, and we were pleased with the high levels of technical abilities we have seen, the session has become a strong test and we hope to be international at the global level in the future. The promotional tours for Sharjah and the visits to different Arab and European countries by the organizing committee before the launch of the current fourth edition is an indicator that we could see the participation of different countries from around the world in the near future. We wish the participation of all women clubs in the UAE to benefit from competitions, which is an opportunity for development especially that this session brings Arab and female heroines who earned achievements from continental and international games in official competition sessions. He concluded by saying: "We thank the Organizing Committee for its efforts which resulted for this session to come out at this level, which reflects excellence in the UAE and creativity in the organization of major international forums.
