At invitation of Turki Al-Sheikh, Al-Rumaithi arrive Jeddah to attend Cup final

His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, received here today Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the General Authority for Sport and his accompanying delegation who is visiting the Kingdom to attend the final match of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, in King Abdullah Sport City in Jeddah. The ceremony was attended by HE Arif Al-Tabour Al-Nuaimi, Consul-General and Nasser Bin Tha’loub, Manager of the President of the UAE Football Federation Office. It is worth mentioning that HE Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al-Rumaithi received an invitation from HE Turki Al-Al Sheikh, Chairman of the General Authority of Sport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup. Al-Rumaithi is accompanied by two members of his office, Mohammed Salmin Al-Jabri and Khalid Ali Al-Yahyaani.

In the presence of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Al Rumaithi attends the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup in Jeddah. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud has sponsored the final match of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the current sports season between Al Faisaly and Al Ittihad teams at the King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. Al Ittihad beat Faisaly 3-1. His Excellency General Mohammed Khalfan Al-Rumaithi, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, who witnessed the final, praised the distinguished organization, stressing that the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud for this sporting event is clear evidence of his great support for the sport movement in Saudi Arabia. He stressed that the King’s sponsorship of this sport event is a clear sign and proof of his support to the sport movement in the kingdom, and a proof of the keenness of the wise leadership to prepare the Saudi youth to represent their country in the best way possible.

Al Rumaithi appreciated the efforts of HE Turki Al-Al Sheikh, Chairman of the General Authority of Sport in Saudi Arabia, which transformed this event into a wonderful celebration and contributed to its success. He also praised the efforts of the Saudi Football Federation in developing the popular game in the Kingdom. Al-Rumaithi also congratulated the management of Al-Ittihad club, the technical and administrative staff, the players and the fans of the team on the occasion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, wishing Al-Faisaly team success in future events. The final was attended by HE Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Nasser bin Tha’loub, Manager of the Office of the President of the Emirates Football Federation, Mohammed Salmin Al Jabri and Khalid Ali Al Yahyaani from the Office of the President of the General Authority for Sport.
