Centers Forum

In line with the objectives of the strategic plan of the Authority as to activate and promote the programs as to meet the needs of young people and respond to their ambitions and give the chance to the exploration and polishing of their talents, the Authority has been keen to hold an annual forum of youth centers targeting young people and supervisory agencies for acquaintance and exchange of experiences and extending the bridges of fruitful communication between them through a diversified group of entertainment programs such as sports, artistic, cultural and sports competitions.

Target Audience:

The young people of the UAE from the age of 11 to 25 years.

Location of Implementation:

• The First Youth Forum: 2008 at Sharjah Youth Center.
• The Second Youth Forum: 2009 at Al Ghel Youth Center.
• The Third Youth Forum: 2010 at Ajman Youth Center.
• The Fourth Youth Forum: 2011 at Sharjah National Park.
• The Fifth Youth Forum: 2012 at Ajman Youth Center and Al Ghel Youth Center.
• The Sixth Youth Forum: 2013 at Al Hamria Cultural and Sports Club and Umm Al Quwain Girl Center.

Objectives:

• To give the chance to young people and supervisory agencies to get familiarized, exchange experiences and extend the bridges of communication.
• To improve the sportsmanship inside young people by creating chances of fair competition.
• To improve the sense of volunteering inside the young people and motivate them for volunteering.
• To enhance the spirit of national affiliation and loyalty.
• To get opened to society in all segments and involving it in the centers' activities.
